HISTORIC RECORD
Since these photos were taken the memorial garden has been cleared, it is not known what has happened to the plaques.

MEMORIAL SITE : Liberator Close

Liberator Close is named as a tribute to the Consolidated B-24H Liberator (41-29402) 'The Mad Monk' that crashed in the field behind the houses on 25 July 1944.  The aircraft was from the 786th Bombardment Squadron of the 466th Bombardment Group based at nearby Attlebridge Airfield. Fortunately all the crew survived.

MEMORIAL SITE : Light Dragoon War Memorial & Gardens, Robertson Barracks

MISCELLANEOUS : RAF 100 Heritage Arts Trail
