Welcome to UK Airfields
UK Airfields is a dedicated historical archive documenting the rich aviation heritage of the United Kingdom. The site provides a comprehensive database and photographic record of airfields, aviation memorials, military and civilian aviation sites, war graves, and related locations both within the UK and overseas. While the primary emphasis is on British aviation history, selected international sites of relevance are also included.
This archive is built entirely on original research and photography. Every image featured on this website has been taken personally; no external material is used. As this is an ongoing, long-term project, some locations are not yet represented simply because they have not been visited. UK Airfields is operated independently, and visits are scheduled as time, access rights, and permissions allow.
