RAF 100 Group

~ Confound and Destroy ~

The airfields and associated sites of 100 Group, Royal Air Force. The Group was tasked to reduce the increasing losses of RAF night bombers to the German air defence system. Electronic countermeasure aircraft from the 36th Bombardment Squadron, USAAF formed part of the group from August 1944 as well. The Group was formed on 11 November 1943 and disbanded on 17 December 1945.
