MEMORIAL SITE : Scholars Court
HISTORIC RECORD
At Scholars Court, Oak Street, Norwich it was reported in Huby Fairhead's book, Aeronautical Memorials of Norfolk, that there was an 18inch square historic wartime place located in the inner courtyard. The plaque is inscribed '1942 Blitz' with Sir Winston Churchill's V for Victory sign. I visited on 26 November 2016 and could find no trace of this plaque, here is a photo of Scholars Court for the record.
