MISCELLANEOUS : Section of WW1 Hangar Roof Truss
This roof truss was built by Boulton & Paul of Norwich and was part of an original WW1 Hangar erected at Bacton Aerodrome. After the aerodrome closed, the hangar the found its way to North Walsham and was used by STS Holburn as a garage. In 2007 the garage was damaged by gales and the hangar was deemed a write off, the trusses were cut up and this part found its way to the Norfolk & Suffolk Aviation Museum, Flixton, Suffolk.
