21 December 2020 : Virgin Atlantic say farewell to the last British passenger 747

The final British registered passenger 747 flight is due to take place on 21 December 2020.  Boeing 747-443 G-VROY of Virgin Atlantic Airways will depart London Heathrow on a positioning flight to Las Vegas. It is due to depart Heathrow at 1300L with flight number VIR847P.  G-VROY was delivery to Virgin in June 2001 and given the name 'Pretty Woman' after the song by Roy Orbison as a reference to the aircrafts registration. This aircraft will continue to fly after being converted to a freighter it will start a new lease of life with Atlas Air with the registration N482MC.
