21 December 2020 : Virgin Atlantic say farewell to the last British passenger 747
The final British registered passenger 747 flight is due to take place on 21 December 2020. Boeing 747-443 G-VROY of Virgin Atlantic Airways will depart London Heathrow on a positioning flight to Las Vegas. It is due to depart Heathrow at 1300L with flight number VIR847P. G-VROY was delivery to Virgin in June 2001 and given the name 'Pretty Woman' after the song by Roy Orbison as a reference to the aircrafts registration. This aircraft will continue to fly after being converted to a freighter it will start a new lease of life with Atlas Air with the registration N482MC.

18 December 2020 : RAF Museum aircraft disposals
On 18 December 2020 a list of 26 aircraft which are alleged to be up for disposal by the RAF Museum was published on some social media outlets. Some of these are loaded out to other museums and others are in storage, hopefully new homes can be found for them, if the list is accurate. The airframes are as follows:
